Work Has Begun

Work has begun on the main entrance island. In a 5-0 vote, the Board has set the budget estimate at $14,500.00 for the whole project. So far we have collected $7,400.00 and plan to collect that same amount next year. This leaves $300.00 for flex in this area.
In another 5-0 vote, the Board has selected Jose Jaramillo Camacho for the work. Jose has begun tearing out the existing hardscaping and completely re-landscape the center island including the use of some boulders. Jose's bid also allows the main portion of the work to complete this year. The cul de sac re-landscaping work will be addressed in 2027, however the dead tree in the Eastern circle will be removed this year. The winning bid won both on price of the entrance area full re-do and on a demonstrated record of work (multiple yards) within Westbury.
The Board would like to thank everyone for their input, generosity and patience in making this happen.
Here are some pictures of the work in progress.
