Why do we want to pursue the Beautification Project?

The walls are cracking in various places and mortar is falling out. 

The walls are getting "pushed" out from underneath the crown of the wall (probably by roots from the trees).

The crown is also cracking in some places.

There's also cracking and mortar falling out in this island on one of the cul de sacs.

These two trees on the main median are dead, but attempting to remove them will most likely cause damage to the walls because the walls are in need of repair.

There's also a stump that needs to be removed out of the median.
