Beautification Project Survey
The HOA board sent out a survey to determine interest in pursuing a beautification project for our neighborhood. See pictures below on this page for reasons why we are looking to pursue this. Here are the results of the initial survey.
What were the survey questions that were sent out?
How many were sent and how many respoded?
Sent: 38
Responses: 24
Percent response: 63%
What were the responses?
Yes: 22
No: 2
Percent of those who responded who said Yes: 92%
Overall percent of homes in our HOA (i.e. out of 38 total homes) who responded Yes: 58%
What was the assessment amount people preferred (it was possible to select multiple acceptable options)?
$400 one time: 10
$200 over two years: 7
$133 over 3 years: 4
We also had one response indicating $200 one time only (i.e. not the full amount)
What were the most common comments people included in their responses?
Remove the dead trees
Repair the raised bed walls
General replant with area appropriate plants
How many people said they wanted to be part of the team to implement the project?
2 responses
What does this mean? What happens next?
This was an initial survey to see if there was sufficient interest in moving forward for a formal ballot. The threshold was 20 "yes" responses. We received 24 "yes" responses. This means the HOA board will now send out an official ballot to formally vote on the special assessment. For that to pass, we are putting the threshold at 25 yes votes (67% of the 38 households). Look for that ballot to arrive in your mailboxes soon.
